The Snack Shack
Every Friday we have a refreshment cart selling goodies to students after school. The proceeds from the "Snack Shack" are divided between three different organizations: the student council, the cheerleaders, and the band.
This fund raiser will help our students raise money for many activities throughout the year.

Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the country. It began in honor of Drug Enforcement Officer Enrique Camarena, who was murdered while working undercover. Many people from California who knew Officer Camarena pledged to lead drug-free lives to honor the sacrifices made by Camarena and others on behalf of all Americans. They began to wear red badges of satin, red ribbons, as a symbol Camarena's memory. Today, Red Ribbon Week is nationally recognized and celebrated, helping to preserve Special Agent Camarena's memory and further the cause for which he gave his life.
For Red Ribbon Week, to show that we will stay drug-free, the student council sponsored dress-up days and a dance. The dress-up days were:
Monday - “Shine Like The Stars and Don’t Do Drugs” – Dress like a celebrity.
Tuesday - “Too Cool for Drugs” – Wear red clothes, hat and sunglasses.
Wednesday -“Friends Don’t Let Friends Do Drugs” – Dress like your friend.
Thursday - “Set Your Goals High and Don’t Do Drugs” – Dress like what you want to be when you grow up.
Friday - “Say Boo to Drugs” – Wear a Halloween Costume
The theme for the dance was the Hollywood Fall Ball! We had a lot of fun!
